Chapters
Run by volunteer leaders and supported by the IGDA’s international headquarters, IGDA chapters represent the IGDA and advance its mission locally through regular events, community outreach, education, and advocacy efforts. Chapters also help connect their members to a global community of IGDA chapters, SIGs, and committees around the world.
The IGDA has two types of chapters: professional and student.
Professional chapters serve all individuals interested in game development and related fields in a specific geographical region.
Student chapters serve students and faculty interested in game development and related fields at a specific school, college, or university.
With over one hundred chapters encompassing most major game development areas worldwide, no matter where your career takes you, you’ll always have a local IGDA community ready to welcome you home.
