Volunteer with the IGDA!

The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) values the dedication and expertise of its members and volunteers. Our diverse and passionate community is at the heart of everything we do, from providing essential technical support on our Discord server to shaping the future of the game development industry through our initiatives. Volunteers are the driving force behind our mission to empower developers worldwide. By generously contributing their time and skills, they help us create a vibrant ecosystem that benefits all members. We recognize that the collective strength of our community is what makes the IGDA so impactful, and we deeply appreciate the commitment of our volunteers who bring our vision to life.

Volunteering with the IGDA is not only an opportunity to give back to the game development community but also a chance for personal and professional growth. Our volunteers gain valuable experience in project management, community building, and leadership, enhancing their skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. By taking on roles such as Discord administrators, event coordinators, or resource developers, volunteers sharpen their abilities while making meaningful connections with like-minded professionals. Moreover, their contributions ripple through the games industry, as our collective efforts drive positive change and progress. By volunteering with the IGDA, individuals not only strengthen their own capabilities but also make a lasting impact on the broader games industry, shaping it into a more inclusive, supportive, and innovative space for all.
