IGDA Launches Regional Coordinator Program with 12 Leads Worldwide

1 May 2020

The IGDA is excited to announce the launch of its Regional Coordinator Program. IGDA Chapters and their leaders allow all of our IGDA communities to support and empower game developers around the world. This program is designed to increase the support resources available to its over 120 chapter leaders around the world and to provide insights on regional needs to the IGDA.

IGDA Regional Coordinators will oversee both professional and student chapters in their designated region and will work with IGDA Chapter leadership, other Regional Coordinators, and IGDA Staff to provide updates, celebrate successes, problem solve, escalate, and help to ensure a successful IGDA chapter community worldwide.

Joining the program for development and launch are individuals who have been around the IGDA and its chapter community for years: Houssem Ben Amor (Tunisia), Tim Cullings (US), Tyler Cushing (US), Zane Everett (US), Gwen Foster (Philippines), Yaraslau I. Kot (Belarus), Larry Kuperman (US), Branden Middendorf (US), Kenji Ono (Japan), Vesa Raudasoja (Finland), Carlos Reyes (Colombia), and James Seetal (US).

More details regarding the program will be made available to chapter leaders in upcoming weeks.
