(March 2011) Game Audio Curriculum Guideline, Prepared by the Education Working Group of the Interactive Audio Special Interest Group

18 Sep 2023

This document is intended to aid educators as well as students with regards to what knowledge is required to work in the area of video game sound & music. It has been developed over several years and consultation with many experts who gave their time to ensure that this Curriculum Guideline was as complete as possible at the time of release. As the EDUWG continues to receive feedback from industry and academia we will include additional relevant material into future editions ensuring that our curriculum recommendations are up to date on current developments, and addressing the challenges of the future. This way the document will continue to be a valuable resource to anyone who is interested in understanding the skills and knowledge required to make a ‘game audio’ expert.IasigGameAudioCurriculumGuideline_v1a
