Pathfindin.gs was a weeklong celebration of game development from the global south. Seeking to create direct impact by elevating and giving a platform to otherwise marginalized voices.

Pathfindin.gs brought together over 500 developers and hundreds of studios to support game developers from the Global South. The three day conference touched on development practices, culture, heritage, diaspora and decolonization with developers and the community from global south speakers who deserve to be celebrated. It was hosted on MeetToMatch with presentations streamed by IGDA on Twitch and YouTube.

The event allowed us to invite, celebrate and collaborate with individuals from the Global South., and helped educate, equalize, and explore the differences and similarities that we have even though we are continents apart.
