Today the IGDA would like to feature one of our hardworking volunteer leaders, Tim Cullings. Tim has been on the Board of IGDA Seattle since 2015 and has seen the chapter undergo many changes over the years. He is well known for his work in the Seattle game development scene, providing a hand to both rising and established game developers through hosting events and providing other resources.

IGDA Seattle has shone in 2019, starting off with their Career Night eventGlobal Game Jam then their Games and Education Breakout sessiona recruiting event for people affected by layoffs in the area followed by a couple of wonderful talks by the creators of Moss and Slay the Spire.

Their highly anticipated summer BBQ is just around the corner and Tim has promised the IGDA Seattle has more great events lined up for the Fall that should be exciting for our members.

Tim also leads Seattle Indies, a non-profit dedicated to building community for the independent game developers in the Seattle area. Seattle Indies Expo is also just a couple of weeks away where attendees will get to play 25 of the best locally made games and meet the developers behind them.
