
Exciting Scholarship Opportunities from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences
5 Jun 2015The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) is offering multiple scholarships to talented students who are pursuing careers in the interactive entertainment industry.
The IGDA and IGDA Scholars program are excited to help our friends promote these great opportunities.
The Randy Pausch scholarship was established in 2008 to honor the memory of Computer Science Professor and Co-Founder of the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University, Dr. Randy Pausch. This scholarship is geared towards students pursuing a career in (but are not limited to) art, animation, programming, engineering, game direction, game design, sound design, and music composition.
The Mark Beaumont Scholarship was established by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences in 2010 to honor the memory of COO of Capcom North America and Europe, Mark Beaumont. This scholarship is geared towards students pursuing a career in (but are not limited to) executive leadership, law, marketing, public relations, and business development.
