The Smith College based chapter of the International Game Developers Association

Smith College Game Development Club is focused on helping students at Smith College and the rest of the Five College Consortium become more comfortable with video game development and find potential career paths after college. Our main goal is to enhance member skill sets in game development and bridge computer science and multiple forms of art, fostering interdepartmental collaboration. We stand to promote inclusivity in our community through making games and emphasizing effective communication across various specialties.

We host events roughly once a month where we discuss a variety of topics relating to game development and design. Our events are almost always hosted on Smith College campus.
