From Among Us to Call of Duty: Warzone, cross-platform play is one of the biggest trends in leading multi-player games — and it’s a trend that seems to be catching on industry-wide. It’s never been easier for gamers to play with their friends, regardless if they’re on PC, XBox, PlayStation or mobile. While this is exciting news for gameplay and gamers, it also introduces more opportunities for cheats — a risk that game developers should be aware of.
As the walls between platforms come down and closed ecosystems are exposed, a consistent anti-cheat solution that works on all platforms appears to be one of the best ways to protect games.
In this IGDA webinar, join Michail Greshishchev, Product Manager at Denuvo, to discuss the importance of cheat prevention in cross-platform gaming. Attendees will learn about:
- The impact of cheats on cross-platform gameplay on PC, console and mobile devices
- What it means to have a cross-platform anti-cheat solution
- The risk of not being proactive and adapting to this new trend
