What Remains of Edith Finch Assets Free on Unreal Marketplace

24 Nov 2020

Epic Games has been releasing massive AAA quality asset packs for developers to use for free on the Unreal Marketplace, with two major drops recently. In addition to these unbranded asset packs and Epic’s $15 million in game assets releases from Paragon and Infinity Blade, developers can now access assets from What Remains of Edith Finch for free on the Unreal Engine Marketplace. This exclusive collection of assets features environment models, props, materials, and more from the BAFTA Award-winning title.

This new asset collection features over 3,000 stylized meshes, including rustic appliances and kitchenware, beach environment assets with outdoor wedding and party decorations, and unique textures and materials. Plus, low-poly fantasy kingdom assets from townspeople to modular castle components! These unique assets can be used across a wide variety of games and scenes.

Free assets are a great way to add depth to scenes in games already in development or to use during prototyping and game jams to quickly construct scenes and ideas. Working with high quality assets is also a great way to further your knowledge about best practices.

If you are interested in these assets and the many others, both free and paid, available for Unreal Engine, you can find them on the Unreal Engine Marketplace. The Unreal Marketplace is also currently hosting a Black Friday Sale that offers up to 70% off of select products until December 2nd.
