This moment is a challenge for our games community. Belt tightening, layoffs, and closures at game companies large and small mean many talented people face uncertainty and need career support. Amid a nationwide mental health crisis, more of us than ever before are turning to games and game spaces seeking mental health resources and community. As six community based organizations that serve people who make and play games, we formed the Stronger Together In Games fundraising initiative to fund our critical work.

The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) is proud to join five esteemed organizations providing essential support to our community: IGDA Foundation, Take This, Game to Grow, Global Game Jam, and Women in Games International.

Collectively our efforts make the games industry more diverse and inclusive, foster  professional growth and skill development, and support the mental health of game lovers and creators.
