6 Aug 2013

The IGDA Leadership Track at SIEGE (4 – 6 in Atlanta, USA) invites speakers and panelists to contribute suggestions for sessions that will educate, enlighten and encourage leaders in the game development industry. The speakers for this track will be carefully selected to provide the most meaningful and up-to-date information for improving the abilities and knowledge base of company founders, discipline managers and aspiring leaders.

Call for Proposals (CFP) — EXTENDED

When: Proposals for panel discussions (preferred) or individual sessions has been extended and are welcome any time before Friday 16 August 2013, 23:59 (U.S. Pacific Time). Accepted panelists and speakers will receive complimentary passes to SIEGE for themselves and one guest.

What: Advancing knowledge for leaders in the games industry. We’re looking for content that would interest senior management, newly formed teams, large departments, small startups, outsourcers, contractors, etc. What will not be accepted: white-washed post-mortems, adoption techniques for common methodologies and purely theoretical discussions. We want to offer the most pertinent and contemporary firsthand accounts and concrete lessons that can be readily applied by session attendees.

Target Audience: Expect the audience for your session to comprise veteran CEO’s, all manner of discipline leads and developers who aspire to leadership positions.
