The 2016 IGDA Board of Directors election has concluded and the results were certified by the Board of Directors. Congratulations to our newest Board members, Vesa Raudasoja (Finland) and Lucy Morris (New Zealand)!

Ten percent of the eligible membership was required to reach quorum for the election and we’re very happy to announce we attained 15% this year! The results of the voting are as follows:

Total Ballots Submitted: 811

Vesa Raudasoja – 473 votes
Lucy Morris – 318 votes
Melody Schaeffer – 241 votes
Cat Wendt – 213 votes

Thank you to all of these candidates, to everyone who expressed an interest in running, and to those who voted, for contributing to the future of the organization! We’d also like to thank those directors leaving the board for their years of service: Tom Buscaglia, Luke Dicken, and Sheri Graner Ray. The new board members will officially begin their terms on 1 April 2016.
