AFRICA GAMES WEEK is the largest gathering of African Game Developers in the world, with over 150 developers from across the continent gathering in one place.
AGW 2022 is set for 23-25 February and will occur HYBRID and be filmed, edited, and interlaced with online streams showcased VIRTUALLY on the event platform. AGW 2021 will once again act as host to the core event MAKE GAMES AFRICA, the business of gaming conference. It will be joined by Nordic Game Discovery Contest (Sweden) and supported by the A MAZE (Berlin) Train Jam which will run from Joburg to Cape Town over 24 hours.
AGW 2022 is adding 2 more exciting events: Africa StreamCon, a conference and meetup for African and International content creators, and the African Developed Games Esports Tournament, a first of its kind in the world.
