This January, the PHL Gaming Taskforce, assembled by Philadelphia City Councilman Isiah Thomas and comprised of members of the Philadelphia game community, met at City Hall to discuss their researched report and discuss potential legislation to help boost game-centric business in Philadelphia, including game development. For our March meeting, members of the taskforce including IGDA’s own Adrian Sandoval and Robert Lloyd, studio founders from PHL Collective, local leaders from Philly Game Mechanics and more will gather to answer your questions on the PHL Gaming report, the council hearing, our next steps, and more.
