The IGDA Scholarship program is excited to announce that IGDA Japan has opened up scholarships for Tokyo Game Show (TGS) & the Computer Entertainment Developers Conference (CEDEC)! We are thankful to the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association for their generosity and for providing up and coming talent with this opportunity. Students across the globe, studying all game industry related disciplines are welcome to apply. Events for CEDEC will be held 1-4 September in Yokohama, Japan. Events for Tokyo Game Show will be held 17-21 September Chiba City, Japan.

Like other IGDA Scholars experiences, winning applicants will attend one of the conferences on a free pass, either a CEDEC regular pass or TGS business pass. Winners will also go on a game studio tours (TBD), attend networking events, and be assigned industry veterans to mentor them while at the conferences.

Last year students toured Cygames, CRI Middleware, GREE, Lando Hoo, Premium Agency, and Ubiquitous Entertainment INC.
