IGDA Launches Discord and Other Resources for Game Developers

29 Sep 2019

The International Game Developers Association has been hard at work creating new platforms and resources for game developers to share their knowledge, grow their skill sets, and connect with industry peers.

The latest platform the IGDA has created to support their mission of supporting and empowering game developers around the world in achieving fulfilling and sustainable careers is the IGDA Discord, available at: https://discord.gg/igda

This Discord provides access to all IGDA Chapters and SIGs, as well as more general channels for asking general development questions and connecting across IGDA’s 150+ community groups.

In addition to this Discord, the IGDA has launched their own Twitch channel, https://www.twitch.tv/igda, that will be hosting various webinars and streams from IGDA events, including from IGDA Chapters. Make sure to subscribe to not miss out on any of these valuable learning opportunities!
