The Activision/Blizzard layoffs that happened yesterday impacted great people, and we want to help everyone find a new opportunity in game development as quickly as possible. Our Chapters in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and Seattle are working on events and resources for their local communities, and IGDA HQ is also helping companies looking to hire in those communities with a special offer for posts in the IGDA Career Center.

The IGDA is offering companies with at least 10 open positions in an area with people impacted by the layoffs the following special benefits to help fill their positions as quickly as possible:
