SUMMARY:Webinar: The Necessity of a Consistent Anti-Cheat Solution Across All Platforms\, presented by Denuvo
DESCRIPTION:Monday 18 October\, 2021 @ 12pm ET \nRegister here! \nFrom Among Us to Call of Duty: Warzone\, cross-platform play is one of the biggest trends in leading multi-player games — and it’s a trend that seems to be catching on industry-wide. It’s never been easier for gamers to play with their friends\, regardless if they’re on PC\, XBox\, PlayStation or mobile. While this is exciting news for gameplay and gamers\, it also introduces more opportunities for cheats — a risk that game developers should be aware of. \nAs the walls between platforms come down and closed ecosystems are exposed\, a consistent anti-cheat solution that works on all platforms appears to be one of the best ways to protect games. \nIn this IGDA webinar\, join Michail Greshishchev\, Product Manager at Denuvo\, to discuss the importance of cheat prevention in cross-platform gaming. Attendees will learn about: \n\nThe impact of cheats on cross-platform gameplay on PC\, console and mobile devices\nWhat it means to have a cross-platform anti-cheat solution\nThe risk of not being proactive and adapting to this new trend\n\n  \nSPEAKER BIO \nMichail Greshishchev\, Product Manager\, Denuvo by Irdeto \n Michail Greshishchev is a software engineer with a passion for reverse engineering. His career revolves around software reliability & safety critical systems. In his spare time\, he enjoys disassembly\, static and dynamic analysis of software and hardware\, indie game development\, and working on machine learning projects. His recent accomplishments were contributing a security analysis framework to Automotive Grade Linux (AGL)\, enabling automotive manufacturers to protect future cars from cyber-attacks\, and winning a US Navy CTF hacking competition in Austin\, Texas. Presently\, he is a product manager at Denuvo.
