I'm a current 3rd year student at Hull School of Art and Design. Im working towards a BA in Games Design. The course includes looking at the art and theory of games design, how games are created using specific tools, the different platforms, along with many other areas of game creation.

I've had a very busy life so far and I don't suppose its going to get much easier - and I certainly don't want it to! For the last 8 years I have been working with computers both software and hardware. At Westminster University I learned Assembler, C#, General studies and computational electronics. After attending Westminster I then moved to Hull and began my degree in Games Design. While I did enjoy computer science, I love games. It seemed logical that games design would take advantage of both my technical and creative skill. Playing them is boring, making them is far more rewarding. (Maybe I'm just crazy) ;)

Outside of all the work related activities I am a avid gamer and mainly play FPS, action, tycoon games, and SecondLife. Alot of the time i play games it wont be for the killing or the action within the game - more it tends to be for story and so I can see the way the game has been created. Apart from gaming I play Frisbee, football and love adventure sports. I love traveling and its my true passion outside games.

This year I am president for the Hull Games Development Community. The IGDA student club participates in a number of local activities, works on a major project and also meets up for the odd social gathering.
