Approximately equal numbers of students from Digital Media and Computer Science backgrounds, in the 3rd of 4th years of their degree. Students from other backgrounds (eg Architecture) are accepted if they are strongly motivated and can make a good argument for what skills they can offer.

No formal prerequisites other than 3rd year standing, but students are expected to have strong ability in at least one area which they can contribute to their group. Eg, Animation, 3D Graphics programming, Networking, Sound + Music, etc.
