A template page, within the context of a MediaWiki installation such as this one, is a page in which the content is not meant to be viewed by itself. Rather, a template holds content that is meant to be included dynamically in each page that calls it, with the possibility of parameters being set by each calling of the template to customize the actual content included as part of the calling page.
