IGDA Boston
International Game Developers Association
The IGDA Boston chapter is more commonly known as the Boston Postmortem. This is because the chapter is actually older than the IGDA itself, and the old name stuck around.

[edit] A Typical Meeting
Boston Postmortem meetings tend to be more focused on the social aspect than other chapter meetings. This is probably because there's always beer and food available for purchase (or sometimes free!). Usually there's a speaker or a panel booked, and the topics can range from an actual postmortem to sex in games to academia/industry issues.
[edit] Logistics
Typically, the Postmortem is held on the second Tuesday or Wednesday of each month at The Skellig, an Irish pub in Waltham, MA. The event starts at 7:00PM, and each attendee is responsible for paying a designated Postmortem committee member for food, drink, and 23% on top of that for tax/tip.
For up-to-date information, always check the Boston Postmortem official website.
[edit] History
The Boston Postmortem has a long and illustrious history, which somebody should probably add here :)
