[edit] The Concept

  • Any one familiar with current events in Iraq would quickly understand what is meant by “asymmetrical” warfare. On one side you have professionally trained soldiers with top of the line weapons while the other side uses any form of dangerous item they can get their hands on. And in the end neither side has won.
  • Using this balance we will create two sides of entirely different game play elements that can and will inspire new online game play.
  • The two sides will be the Holymen VS the Coalition. The “Holy” side will comprise of the core holyman plus 3 other “follower” classes. The holy side will not represent any current or past religious order. The coalition side will comprise of either a “core” class that augments their powers through weapons/items upgrades or several distinct classes that will then upgrade their standard load out.
  • Both sides will have different winning objectives that are defined below.

[edit] Concept Origins

  • Original gameplay idea was an FPS game that allows players the choice of suicide bombing. From there it was all down hill.
  • Addition insperations came from TFC (Team Fortress Classic) president mode and CS (Counter Strike) VIP mode. The one flaw in these modes was if the player that was "randomly" selected to be the VIP decided not to play or play well. This ruined the game experience for the rest of the team. We wish to allow anyone the chance to be that VIP. By staying alive the player increases thier chance to be the VIP right up to the end of the game. This "should" insure that the best player is indeed the vip.
