HullGDC (Created 2006) The HullGDC creates an opportunity for students and people within the Hull and East Ridings area to develop, design, play and discuss video game both as a technical discipline and also as an emerging art form. We aim to offer assistance and information for all elements of game development. The Hull Games Development Community is a fully Recognized IGDA club.
The Hull Games development community is not just for a select few individuals or those attending university. The Hull GDC is open to all members of the public. Members are able to gain access to a wealth of information from within the games industry, work on major projects and build there own personal portfolio. We are actively seeking Designers, Coders, artists, animators, marketing specialist and anyone with an interest and passion for gaming.

The HullGDC works on two collaborative game projects along with helping members with their own personal projects. The first of these projects is a educational MMO called 'Argon' - Working title

- The HullGDC meets weekly in the grounds of Hull School of Art & Design.
- The HullGDC is involved with organizing the Hull 'Mobile, Education, Design and Interactive Conference' in June 2007.
